Aviano AFB

Hi all,

I´d like to do some spotting there of course if it´s possible and without. Does anyone have any informations about on spotting location and maybe equipment suggested? Is a 70-300mm enough? I found a guide but it is not s precise about the locations, hich are the same where I spent my Sunday afternoon a lot of time ago.

How active is the base and the most important thing how are tollerated plane spotting there? When I was child I used to go there and I remember that photographers were always asked to hand over the film to the autority.
