How to check for "main object not sharp" before uploading.

Hi, first post here but I'm curious as to how I can check that the photo is sharp enough for the site before uploading. This is my biggest issue and when I tried to sharpen images that were in focus to make them better and reupload them, I have been rejected again for it being too sharp. Is there any way I can tell what is "just right"?

I upload this to the website a couple days ago to have it rejected for this reason. They mentioned it being too red as well but it was fire season and the sky was reddish/pink during sunset. I don't want to start explaining that to the screeners so I let it go, but the main object not being sharp is haunting me again! Any feedback?

Also, I am thinking about uploading this to the site but now I am not sure how the editors will take it. Any thoughts on the photo?

Search through YouTube for senior-admin Angelo Bufalino tutorials to editing aviation photos. He has plenty of them based on Lightroom, Camera Raw, Photoshop and NIK Collection covering all what you'd want, including sharpening. I learnt almost everything I know about editing my photos from 2 or 3 of his videos. Extremely helpful. After carefully following his steps you should easily get your photos accepted ;)

I agree with Kuba Balcerski, ever since i started watching the editing videos from Angelo Bufalino, i got every single image accepted that i tried to upload. here's the link to his youtube channel.

Wish you all the best on your future edits :)

Thank you for the help! I will take a look at his videos and tweak my editing. I had no idea he made video tutorials!
