Search through YouTube for AP.net senior-admin Angelo Bufalino tutorials to editing aviation photos. He has plenty of them based on Lightroom, Camera Raw, Photoshop and NIK Collection covering all what you'd want, including sharpening. I learnt almost everything I know about editing my photos from 2 or 3 of his videos. Extremely helpful. After carefully following his steps you should easily get your photos accepted ;)
