There has been some debate lately on the forums about image quality in general and it is gratifying to know how many Members care about maintaining the standard of images on the database.
It would be helpful to everyone concerned if we all followed the same course of action and not act like an unofficial site policeman, who takes things into their own hands and reports a problem directly to the member concerned. This action, however noble in intention earns you no friends and remember what goes round, comes around and it may be you that's on the receiving end of a "policeman."
Screeners look at an awful amount of images in a session and sometimes mistakes are made, so contacting the person that took the picture would be a waste of time, as the member concerned is completely innocent.
A further reminder about protest ratings, awarding even a single star is counter-productive as it ACTUALLY HELPS the person in attaining full membership.
So help us to help you. If you see an image, whether its from a Full or a contributing Member that in your opinion is sub standard then please send a message to the senior administrators and let them sort things out. Their address is Team@Airplane-Pictures.net
This message is for information only, there is a thread running at the moment debating image quality, so please do not contribute to this one.
