Sharpening - a good tutorial on the subject

Sharpening is the bane of our lives, it takes a while to get to be able to recognise how much is needed and why it does not work as good as it should do.

This and the the following five pages is the best explanation that I have ever seen on the subject and it changed the way that I sharpen, forever abandoning the Unsharp mask method as a destructive dead loss in favour of High Pass Sharpening.
