I would be interested in knowing what the original settings are for the Fonts& Colours, specifically the default Font and size and those in the advanced tab as well.

AP has been seemingly giving me problems with the quality of the text and I think the problem may lie with Firefox itself rather than my monitor or graphics card (although I have an open mind about that.)

Look in the top left hand corner at the quality of the text in Eurofighter and no it is not linked to any specific part of the screen it does vary and it does improve when I refresh the screen.

I just tested in Firefox and do not have this "appearance" problem on some characters.

I first thought it was the encoding system and changed it but no effect.

I do not think it can be linked to your graphic card ... that's perhaps a stupid solution but did you try to re-install Firefox ?
