End of Phantom era in Japan Air Self Defence Force

On March 17, 2021, the remaining three F-4EJ Phantom aircraft of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force made their last flight at Gifu Air Base. The retirement of the ADTW's (Air Development and Test Wing) Phantoms today brings to an end 50 years of Phantom operations by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
