On the last day October 10 BRAZILIAN AIR FORCE definitely withdrew their service Boeing 707, designated as military KC-137, marking the end of an era in aviation sector. Received between 1986 and 1987, four KC-137 fleet that comprised the FAB, enrolled from 2401 to 2404, were manufactured in the late 1960s, and flew on VARIG before being bought by the Federal Government. The unit chosen to receive them was the 2nd / 2nd Transportation Group "Corsair Squadron", created in 1968 and headquartered in Galeão Air Base / RJ (BAGL).

An-124 visits Recife

Antonov airplanes are rare to be seen in Brazil, so I was amazed when the opportunity to shoot an An-124 at Recife arised! A pair of An-124 flew from Europe to Neuquen, Argentina. This is the first of them, seen beautifully resting at Recife apron, in one of the many stops of this trip. Special thanks to all involved to make this photo a reality!
