First in the database. Emirates 215 making a fuel stop into YYZ, on the way to LAX. The reason for this being is the Grimsvotn volcano that erupted in Iceland, disrupting air traffic. Emirates 215's route involves the flight to go over Iceland, but today it couldn't, the ash was stopping it. Earlier in the day also Emirates 217 arrived and departed to LAX from YYZ for the same reason. 30 minutes later arrived Emirates 225, the flight to SFO, also for a fuel stop. That day YYZ got 3 Emirates 777s. This airport is serviced by EK A380s not 777s, so this is quite the rarity.
