The old UH-34D Seahorse looks great in her retirement. Very interesting how the main rotors fold as well as the tail to save space on a carrier's deck.

Looks like they forgot to iron it when it came out of the wash!

Yeah. I think the upper skins were magnesium or something very light resulting in a frame
that was not as tough as it could have been. But with the piston power they needed the
payload more than toughness. You should see the tail of the CH-53A! It looks like
twisted paper!
