Taken aboard HMS Ark Royal before decommissioning during it's last visit to the Port of Tyne where the ship was built. This Harrier wears a special tail commemorating No.1 Squadron based at RAF Cottesmore which is the RAF's oldest squadron and one that has been involved in almost every major British military operation since World War I. All of the RAF's Harriers will stop flying on 16th December..
