A number of Saab B17s where used by Danish volunteers in Sweden during WWII. In May 1945 they where repainted in Danish livery carrying Danish flags and roundels. The idea probably was to get them ready for action if needed in the liberation of Denmark. However the planes never left Sweden and never came into action. They where soon given Swedish markings again. The plane here is kept at Danmarks Tekniske Museum, Helsinore and has been repainted in the late WWII livery.
