The only remaining Solent resting at MOTAT and overlooking a number of other types from a bygone era including a Sunderland flying boat ex RNZAF. The Solent's cabin is laid out with crockery and silver service with not a piece of plastic in sight. TEAL was the forerunner to Air New Zealand. Auckland to Sydney was 7.5 hours.
