This is an upgraded version of the Su-34, developed as part of the experimental design work "Sych". It has been upgraded with reconnaissance, target designation, communications, electronic warfare systems, a new navigation system and a powerful radar. The new version will be able to conduct patrolling, reconnaissance and high-precision weaponry strikes more effectivelySeveral variants of unified suspended reconnaissance containers have been developed for the Su-34NVO - opto-electronic, radar and radar. Their employment will enable the pilot to detect a wide variety of ground, naval and air targets at a much greater range than that of the baseline Su-34. The range of "smart" munitions used by it has also been expanded.
