One from the archives! Air India's lovely Airbus A330-200 arriving on a beautiful morning. Air India operated two A330s (VT-IWA and VT-IWB) from 2007 to 2014. This particular airframe was originally delivered to Novair in Oct 2000. She flew for Air Madrid and Kuwait Airways as well before joining Air India's fleet in Nov 2007. After leaving Air India she flew for Onur Air and Saudi Arabian Airlines before she was withdrawn from use and stored in 2019. I have spotted AI's A330s dozens of times and I loved the sound of their Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engines! These airframes were replaced by the newer, fuel efficient Boeing 787 Dreamliners. VT-IWB is seen here on final Runway 14, inbound from Singapore via Chennai as "AI343."
