Counting rivets on the nacelle containing the CFM56-5B4/3 high bypass 120 kN turbofan shows the nose cowl, fan cowl with the 36-blade fan and spinner, engine oil tank door and the left pair of pivot-door thrust reversers. Nacelle clearance varies between 67 and 57 cm. depending on the ramp weight. Also visible are the Michelin Air X 46x17R20 radial tyres on the mainwheels. A trace of “FLY’ remains on the nacelle as this was Frontier’s “Carl the Coyote”.
