[cn.15165]. Restored British Designed and Built Vampire was rolled out of the Airspace hanger at a media event at the Imperial War Museum Duxford. This Aircraft served with No.5 Flight Training School at RAF Oakington until 1962, and No.8 FTS at RAF Swinderby. In 1973 this fighter came under the wing of the IWM Duxford. As always the Team have done a great job with this Lady, looking very smart she will be on static display at the moment as there is no power unit fitted.
