Usually gliders come in white and that's it, this is one breaks the mould. It also shows a sense of humour with the inclusion of a Russian Star on the fuselage, except this Blanik is a Polish built glider of, I'm informed a Czech design. Note the wheelchair beside the launch caravan, the glider to the left has been specially adapted for wheel chair users as part of the Walking on Air programme.

Hey boy, Blanik is not Polish, but Czech (Czechoslovak) design from 1950´s.

getting better, but still not perfect -;)
Blanik is Czechoslovak design and production,
none was ever made in poland. The Blanik on the picture is serial number 173121, delivered
to UK in 1964, originaly registered as BGA 1280.
