Upon looking at the thumbnail I thought this was "just" another regular Axalp shot.
But this is amazing with the vortices clearly vicible and something rarely seen. Fantastic
catch almost surreal. EYECATCHER for sure!

Those aren't vortices, they're shock waves if I'm not mistaken.

I have never seen that before. I would understand if the shock wave consisted of vapour,
but this... a rare shot, well deserved eyecatcher.
