Photographer's remark

This Dornier Do-17, coded 5K-AR is apparently the only one still in existence. It has been recovered from the Goodwin Sands off the coast of Ramsgate, UK. It is shown here as it arrives at Ramsgate harbour. The Do-17 was know as the flying pencil, because of its thin fuselage. I will be transported to the RAF museum at Cosfordwhere it will be restored during the coming two years.
