The aircraft in the photograph is De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver (c/n 490). It was delivered to USAF as 52-6112 on 22nd April 1953.
It first operated as N4957 in 1971 for the State of Maine Forestry Dept
- but is now privately owned and seen at its home base of Lake Hood Seaplane Base , Anchorage , United States
