An oblique shot of Portmoak as we passed on out way back to Scone. The bulk of the visitors and home based gliders are kept on the triangular piece of ground to the left of the picture. The club house and club hangar is to the right of the triangle. The field is then split into two, divided by the farmhouse. The South Field is used for tow launching, there is a glider at the far end of the field and the tug is to the left. On the other side of the farm is The North field, marked with the narrower patch of dark green grass, this is where the recoveries and aero-tows are made. My house is on the far side of Loch Leven, a little way up fron the tip of St.Serf's Island and the southern shore of the Loch.
