| Author's remark: | The endless Sahara, passing underneath us for hours and hours, on our way to Bamako - Mali yesterday. This is the forward view from the cockpit, and it shows the sand as far as the curvature of the earth allows. The Sahara is so large, for a long part of the trip we were without any radio-contact with anybody. And with no radar in those regions, this is not the place to run into trouble |
