The Strikemaster Flying Club’s Hawarden-based 1986 Strikemaster is seen here scything through the pass below Cadair Idris on one of two circuits of the Machynlleth Loop. The aircraft was built in 1986 and originally served with the Sultan of Oman’s Air Force (now the Royal Air Force of Oman) in whose colours it is maintained.
