Location: IAF Museum, Palam, New Delhi - It is a two seater multirole plane with maximum speed of 225kmph, range of 580kms. It contains one 550 HP Bristo Jupiter piston engine and the armament capable for it was one fixed Vickers machine gun on port side and one Lewis machine gun in the rear cockpit including 580 lbs bombs. It served IAF from 1933-1942 and also it was IAF's first aircraft on which the pioneer were trained. This aircraft took active part during first two years of World War II, performed a variety of tasks ie, escort of convoys anti submarine patrol, rem close support strafing and bombing. It is called "The old work horse".
