I was in US Army Aviation Oct. '62 to mid '65, and serving at Davison Air Field Va. all
of '63, as U8-F mechanic, and I am pretty sure that 62-3863 was one of our ships, of
which we had not a few, one serial# being 3844, a Beech Baron. Maybe 3863 is the one
that I taxied into three feet of snow. (No damage). Interesting to see it in civilian
livery. On second thought I can't recall the cowling being so flat, is that a
modification? . I can't find my photo of the beautiful all alclad, no paint '65 model
that I crewed in Alaska, or one like it, so I am searching the Net. Happy Landings!
