I have had an interest in photography and aviation since the early 1960s. After marriage and children priorities changed in the interim years until I retired from work in 2000. Just in time for the digital world and have enjoyed it again standing in the cold wind shooting aircraft at AKL and AMZ my two closest airports at the time when i lived in Takanini. Now that I have moved to Katikati my visits will be less frequent. My nearest airport now is at Tauranga about 30 minutes away. A great hobby / job that has many rewards and able to meet many like minded enthusiasts from around the world.
