and clutter? whats the problem ?

Clutter refers to the fact that too much is happening in the back/fore-ground, to such an extent that it is distracting the focus away from the main object.

Image does appear slightly soft to my eyes, but then again, it's saturday night and my vision is slightly impaired courtesy of Mr Arthur Guinness.

As for 'clutter' being a reason for rejection, quite a few years ago I had some photos rejected for clutter. I was advised by the screener to re submit them as airport overview apron or general. I did, and they were accepted. Perhaps you could give that a try and see how you get on ?

Well I did a appeal and they agreed after all. thanks for the comments, specially about the clutter issue!
