Hi,

I have a picture in appeal queue for three days.

I have two theories: Either no one wants to take the decision for my picture. Shame.

Or

Is the appeal queue full? Or is it taking longer than normal?

Thanks AP

I could agree with you if the queue would have 20.000 pics or so. But the time is now 4 hours so I don't consider that option.

Cool down, don't care....it is a hobby....there are other things in the world going on to worry about and that is far more serious then being three days in the appeal queue....

Screener vs. Flickr, or a hybrid ?

Would you consider uploading a picture with a post screening system a possibility?

1) Upload a picture straight to the database W/O the screening process

2) Once the picture is on the DB you can post screen it

3) Let the crowd screen it ( quality, tail number, airport, et cétera )

4) Only VIPs can have access this system ( Sam Chui, CR7 and others )

Of course, if the photo gets rejected after uploading it, the user must be "punished", is "punished" the right word?

Alright, I will take it the cool way...it just looks strange for me.

Nice idea Melvin!

If it is a good idea, we will definitely do it.

Only senior screeners can make the verdict in appeal queue, standard queue has a lot more screeners to do the "job", this is the only reason. And as TonyB said - everyone has its own life beside this site, respect it please, as there is no need for anger.

Why make a big deal out of little things like this sometimes happens that one waits. AP is not any rallies or competitions on time. There are also moments during the normal course of evaluation, the image is in anticipation of the second screen, and then the long wait :)
