Special cargo delivery to Værnes yesterday. Kalitta Air arrived with all the cars for the 8th round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship. This was the first time in the history of the championship that the cars were transportet by a plane.The plane was loaded with 19 supercars, and arrived from Montreal.

Cimber Air operates 12 CRJ-900's for SAS Scandinavian Airlines

Cimber are now operating all twelve CRJ-900 currently flying in the AOC of SAS Scandinavian Airlines on behalf of the pan-Scandinavian Airline from March 1. Cimber's current fleet of a couple of CRJ-200 will continue to be wet-leased to SAS Scandinavian Airlines during March before being retired. Originally, SAS had announced it would transfer its CRJ-900 aircraft to Cimber by the end of March

This 18 year old De Havilland Canada DHC-8-202 Dash 8 LN-WSA is only one of a fleet wide test for Widerøe where the props have been painted with white markings to combat the increasing bird problem in Norway. The contrast when the blades are spinning is said to help keep the birds on distance during landing and take-off at the challenging short field runways in the regional Norway. The concept can be seen here as LN-WSA taxiing for a Rwy 09 departure.
