New addition to the Trans Northern fleet is this ex-US Navy R4D. Nose art bears a likeness of a duck with "Phlucked Phrom Phlorida" titles. Aircraft was flown up from Florida and will be used as a parts source for the remaining R4D/C-117/Super DC-3 fleet. Correct aircraft type is Douglas R4D/C-117 (Super DC3).

I lived on Midway Island from 75-78 when this R-4D (99857) was in service. Where is it
located now?
