Arhh the rain. I was staying in Fairford and I would say the moderate rain of Wednesday
lasted for around 18 hours. Thursday was much brighter but torrential rain ended the day,
it was so heavy that my waterproof camera bag let in water!
This photo will
characterize RIAT 2008, along with the airshow cancelled signs!

Sorry to disappoint you Stu, but I had a helper who was holding my brolly while I took
this shot. But yes did eventually get wet and that was after getting burnt by the sun
earlier in day.

Thanks Oldrich, even with the poor conditions that has put pay to Saturdays RIAT program,
there were some nice photographic opportunities on the Thursday.

I\'ve admired the Tailwind design for years and sat in one 5 yrs ago but the cockpit was
too small for me. (I am 6\' 5\") So I\'m building a different tube & fabric plane
but I still envy Tailwind owners. So I\'ll ask you this question: Do you know of
anyone who has scaled the Tailwind up to fit larger pilots? If so, I\'d sure like to
contact them because after I finish the plane I\'m building, I\'ll be bored if I
don\'t have another project to work on. My email is:

Thank you
