Hi,
A screener commented on my picture that it was soft and that there was digital noise visible. Now my problem: If I sharpen it with for example NIK output sharpener to make it less soft I get extra noise. To remove that noise I use NIK dfine 2, but this makes my picture soft again. How can I solve this? |

As much as I can see it's not the problem in extra sharpening, the whole image is soft probably due to camera shake and no extra sharpening will help, and the noise is so strong and visible that no dfine 2 can help. |

Thanks for your response, where do you see the noise? I can't see it.... |

Good Morning (and by the way, happy new year); I think this one could be recovered if you select the zones where you apply sharpening and the ones to denoise.
In other words, sharpen only the plane (with or without the bicycle ...) and apply more denoise on the sky part of the picture. Give it a try.
