The photo can look slightly grainy instead of smooth and flowing.

Where are the signs of over-sharpened for this image?

I would say especially the blades, the nose and the top of the helicopter.

You can clearly see the jagged lines on the rotor blades and the halos around the helicopter (nose and top).

It is just my opinion.

I have suspected some problems with quality of the picture directly from camera , but without seeing original its difficult to evaluate. IMHO i dont see there much of oversharping ( typicaly f.e white line behind black wheels etc. ) but picture is not very smooth to see at it . What about chromatic abberation ? See tiny structeres of the trees ..and small parts of the helicopter.

Criteria for evaluation are important. If know what to look for then can fix it.

For example, this image of the helicopter was rejected of over-sharpened. The source can not be over-sharpened :) There is a possibility that in this case the problem is halo. I dont see chromatic abberation

With such halo, almost all the images on the site from all authors, but I agree that halo should be removed for a real good result. In this case, I overlooked the defect and did not remove it. I need to be more attentive :)
