Accoring to IMDB.com on the movie Strategic Air Commnd.
One of the C-124A Globemaster
IIs (serial number 49-0258) in the scene where they are being loaded for the wing's
deployment to Japan is currently under restoration at the Air Mobility Command Museum at
Dover AFB, Delaware

I was stationed at Dover AFB 1968 and was trained on " The Shakey", C124 and actually
flew in it to find out why they called it "The Shakey". At take off it would vibrate and
shake till it was airborn. Also you could crawl inside the wings if need be even in flight
! I also worked on the C-141 till discharge, 1972. Was a crew chief in Nam on O2's.

I was with the 8th tcs Larson AFB Wash as a radio operator on the C-124 we then
transfered to McCord AFB and I continued to fly untill 1961, accrued 1800 hours in the
C-124, loved it, my last mission was operation new tape during the Congo uprising in 1960.

I was a loadmaster with 50th from 1963 to 1965, Had alot of fling time in old 49-0258.
