Photographer's remark
(11.12.2008, 08:04 CET)
Twenty minutes worth of exposures stacked together to form a single image. The large single point of light on the horizon is the Inchkeith Light, which is also the point that most aircraft will join the ILS for Edinburgh's runway 24. Traffic is sometimes routed farther out into the Forth or north for separation. The lights Granton can be seen to the right of the picture.
