Author's remark: | Royal Australian Navy Fleet Ceremonial entry - Sydney Harbour. The size of the flag is enormous as "Shark 20" leads an eleven helicopter Navy fly past. An all white ensign flying off the Harbour bridge and over 20 warships and one submarine lined up at anchor for inspection, this was a spectacle to remember. Three Seakings in the air at the same time (50% of the RAN's total current remaining air frames) in their last year of service was an outstanding achievement. Only down side was the weather and fact that Royal New Zealand Navy did not put up their Sea Sprite from HMNZS Canterbury in the fly past. |
