Milan: Aircraft type assingment is not correct. Pink Lady is B-17G, not B-17. Applies also
to your other photos.

and operator is Association Forteresse Toujours Volante This applies also for images
43996,43994,43789,43780,43778 from Milan.
Please note it is the site policy not to
get too involved in the exact model or type designations, general series is sufficient.
However this aircraft has a physical similarity to a B-17F, the G model was fitted with a
nose turret and was subsequently removed in this aircraft.

44-8846 Lockheed-Vega B-17G-85-VE Fortress cn 8246 sold
to Institut Geographique National of France Dec 1954 as F-BGSP. WFU in 1959 and stored.
Transferred May 1985 to Fortress Toujours Volante and re-registered as F-AZDX and is still
flying. Whilst with the IGN, spent some time in South Africa as ZS-DXM Departed Orly Oct
24, 2006 for new home at Saint-Yan
