On display at the Luftwaffenmuseum. This Alpha Jet flew with Jagdbombergeschwader 49 (JaboG 49) from Fürstenfeldbruck. Luftwaffe Alpha Jets also operated with Luftwaffenkommando Beja for training. The Portuguese Air Force subsequently bought a number of Luftwaffe Alpha Jets.
