Elmarie, The aircraft was manufactured in 1943 as an AT-6C-15-NT of Texas at Dallas, USAAF
assigned number 42-44038. In subsequent years he served as a training new pilots USAAF in
Texas. 05.01.1950 it has been received by the producer, who edited the standard AT-6D
(especially by changing the electrical system from 12 to 24V), and in 1953 he sold it to
South Africa. After removing from the South African Air Force remained calm in the
carrying case, and the next decade was stored in the United States. Then it was bought by
the owners along with southwestern United States. He graduated in 1995 in the service of
the SAAF, including the now quite shabby paint, causing Oshkosh in 2009 won the award for
the most original AT-6 Harvard. During this winter it was bought by a group of enthusiasts
from the Czech Republic. He sailed to Hamburg, left taken by road to Hungriger Wolf,
where it was reassembled and then flown by Germany to its new home in Plzen Line. Regards
:)
