Seen outside in the cold winter air, outside the ACS Engineering hangar.
Built in 1966 and well on its way to becoming a classic.

I found YM in pieces in 1977 at Wycombe Air Park following a nose wheel collapse and the
usual resultant damage. She was rebuilt by Bob Batt at Southend Airport who was an
associate of Freddie Laker and helped design the Carvair car transporter which was a
converted DC ?? She had a new engine plus propellor then and it is good to see that she is
still flying after all this time.I think that I flew about 500 hours in her including a
visit to the Scottish Air Rally in 1978 at Glenrothes where I was lucky to meet Douglas
Bader who was guest of honour.I sold her on in 1980 I think and have very happy memories
as she built up my hours to eventually become an Airline Pilot.
