I'm a project manager working at the FAA (contractor with Northroup Grumman) working on Search and Rescue for general aviation Flight Services. I am also an airborne flight crew member (and training officer) flying with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary out of Gaithersburg, MD. I have aviation in my blood. My grandmother's father had got his pilots license back when Orville Wright was the one signing them (I have a photo) and my grandfather was the chief engineer for Luscombe back in the 1940's and helped design the Silvaire type 8 (I want one).
